L'hydrogénocarbonate de sodium (bicarbonate de sodium ou bicarbonate de soude) utilisé doit être de qualité alimentaire telle que décrite dans la directive 2000/63 modifiant la directive 96/77/CE. 

Usages autorisés :
Mildiou (Sphaerotheca spp., Oidium spp.) | Légumes, petits fruits, cultures ornementales
Oïdium (Uncinula necator) | Vigne
Tavelure (Venturia inaequalis) | Pommier
Moisissures de conservation (Penicillium italicum, Penicillium digitatum) | Fruits (oranges, cerises, pommes, papayes)
Lunulaires (Lunularia cruciata) | Plantes en pot

Préparation de la substance

L'hydrogénocarbonate de sodium (ou bicarbonate de soude) doit être utilisé en solution aqueuse ou sous forme de poudre sèche en fonction de l'application.

Préparation à utiliser sous forme de solution aqueuse : doit être dilué conformément au taux d'application indiqué pour chaque usage. 
Préparation à utiliser sous forme de poudre sèche : Application directe de la forme de poudre sèche à l'aide d'un pot à agitation.
